awesome camp ground! Beautiful scenery and plenty of amenities! I have 4 kids ranging from 1-12 and there was something for all of them. The pool complex was awesome as well as the playground. Our stay was short and we didn't enjoy the activities but they offered bingo, ceramics, and even fitness classes. the only recommendation i have is to bring your own cooking supplies, as they had none.
Staying here July 17 - July 21, site 116.
Wonderful vacation, lots to see and do. Fishing, paddle boating on lake, swimming pools for adults and toddlers. Restaurant on site if you don't feel like cooking. Tent sites, trailer sites and park models to rent. Free WiFi and fun events most weekends.
Good looking campground, enjoyed our drive through. Plan to visit with grandchild soon.
Excellent location with plenty of wooded lots. This is a well maintained facility with lots of things for the children to do throughout the day. While a little off the main roads it is worth the extra time to drive out there. I went with my two daughters as sort of a Staycation and we had a wonderful time just getting away from the world. Most of the sites are larger than average and the tenting sites were wonderful instead of an afterthought.
Beautiful grounds, very clean and well kept. Definitely a great place if you have younger kids. Dog friendly areas. Great little store with lots of 'I forgot' items. The gnome theme everywhere is adorable and magical to the younger crowd. Great little mini golf and the pool was very clean. Didn't eat at the cafe (odd hrs) but overheard someone talking about hiw good the food was. Lovely lake (more of a pond) for water recreation and fishing. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. I can't get over how beautiful the grounds are. The seasonal campers and the weekend warriors all seem to be very friendly and take care of their sites. There's also some very interesting sites to stay at: The tree house, the bus, the train... 10/10 So far, would definitely stay again. My only complaint, and it isn't even the campground... Is the noise pollution from the quarry nearby. Goes from 7-8 or 9 every day. Sounds like grinding and back up alarms.
